The CPD (cannabis products directive) is the new government arm being introduced that will relieve the home office from making its outdated and mis informed decisions regarding cannabis/hemp products. They will regulate companies and will have the power to close down or apply legal procedures to any company that does not adhere to the set of standards that have been introduced. The CPD works hand in hand with the CTA (cannabis traders association) to ensure quality and honesty from all members and companies selling cannabis/hemp derived products.
